Job Description :
BNP Paribas is looking for a highly motivated teammate ready to play a key role as a Junior Support Analyst. To work in Beacon support along with other IT Support functions applications. Candidate should be self-motivated, proactive and a good team player.
Direct Responsibilities :
- Serve as Point of Contact for Global Support, get heavily involved in rapid recovery during production outages, and communicate accordingly to impacted customers.
- Perform root cause analysis and identify solutions to prevent reoccurrences of incidents.
- Participate to support documentation creation, update and sharing.
- Participates and ensure adherence to incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Participate to the continuous improvement of the platform monitoring and production processes.
Contributing Responsibilities :
- Understand and remain fully aware of the business processes automated on the production platform.
- Participate to Resiliency events (Disaster Recovery, Sustained Resiliency, etc.) to ensure Business Continuity objectives were met.
- Maintains effective relationships with core and extended program team members, peers, senior stakeholders and business managers
- Willingness to learn complex applications and unique data
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
- Time management skills and Smart working.
- Must be able to work closely with end users and developers
- As a Junior Support Analyst,you should have excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies :
- Team members to ensure detailed root cause analysis is performed and follow up for resolutions.
- Team members to update Problem records (Root cause, Work around, & effort spent on applying the workaround) every time when the issue occurs.
- Team members to participate in internal problem reviews and monthly Problem Management meetings to provide quality updates and ensure appropriate fields are updated.
- Team members ensure to relate the Incidents to the appropriate problem records.
- Team members to ensure and update the problem records with detailed root cause analysis , Short term and long term solutions and Closure notes to record the production change number, Fix provided
- Team members to follow with respective team if action items falls outside team
- Team members to close problem records once corresponding solution rolled out in production
- Fortnightly regular meetings with off shore team & local teams (ADM, OPS, Sub-domain, service review, GBM…)
Specific Qualifications (if required) :
- Ensure production stability through effective change management
- Highlight capacity related issue on time and put checks/monitoring to avoid occurring again
- Involve obsolescence tracking
- Put or bring best practices for effective monitoring
- Reduce operational risk especially human mistakes
- Weekend activities to be planned very well especially activities related to infrastructure
