    The candidate for this role will be responsible for planning and executing best in class video merchandising strategies aimed at driving discovery, trials and engagement with the right content.
  • The Marketing Specialist will demonstrate Amazon internal tool expertise, keen understanding of video content trends and usage patterns, a sound business sense and operational excellence, and a knack for ‘just getting things done.’
  • This role will be based out of Mumbai.

Responsibilities :

  • Marketing Campaign Management :
    • Creating and scheduling standalone campaigns with a clear focus on devising strategies to drive traffic and engagement for Amazon Video
    • Working with global teams to gather learnings about how internal marketing tools are managed, maintained and continue to build use cases that build efficiencies in developing operational excellence
    • Optimizing content campaigns, messaging and navigation through frequent testing and data analysis, documenting the results and sharing best practices
    • Analyzing data to identify customer segmentation strategies
    • Craft, execute and build playbooks to build marketing automation use cases
    • Contributing to the development and testing of new tool features
  • Cross-functional execution :
    • Creative intake: Work with the creative team to source marketing creatives, plan channel intake and initiate adapts. Additionally, work with global teams on automating and optimizing creative intake/renditions.
    • Video asset management: Work with the design team to create a pipeline for all engagement marketing channels, ensure the specs are as per guidelines and manage Media Central/other video asset management tools.
    • PV IN Engagement Focus Areas: Work closely with the Engagement Automation teams to identify opportunities for India for extending the current video marketing program beyond its present use.
    • Consumer Segmentation: Work with PV Business Intelligence team to understand customer cohorts, create basic queries and maintain the segments post creation
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams like Programming and Marketing peers on understanding content updates and consumption patterns to be able to have a holistic understanding of the impact of.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Graduation/Masters in Marketing
  • 3+ years of experience in campaign management or digital marketing
  • Brand marketing experience focused on building and designing digital content campaigns
  • Good analytical capability and ability to communicate success metrics
  • Organizational and communication skills, with proven ability to handle multiple projects and deliver results
  • Ability to prioritize workload and deliver results against multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer focus and obsession
  • Ability to learn new tools quickly. Experience with web/mobile analytics programs i.e., Site Catalyst, Google Analytics.
  • An ambitious self-starter with excellent follow-through skills to develop ideas independently and thrive in fast-paced environment is crucial.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to roll up sleeves and execute to get the job done.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Prior relevant experience of having handled a consumer-facing digital business in a product or marketing.
  • Entrepreneurial and creative spirit, ability to try different things with minimal direction.
  • Knowledge and passion for video content across genres and languages a big plus.
  • Understanding of HTML, XML, and Excel skills along with an understanding of web development.
