Job Description :

The Robotic Automation Business Analyst resides within the Customer Support RPA Team, aligned to the CS Global Infrastructure Transformation (CS GIT) organization. The CS RPA team is responsible for the RPA architecture, development, and deployment strategy of Customer Support as well as delivery of RPA – basic, advanced, autonomic- projects within CS.

Responsibilities :

  • Robotic Automation Business Analyst act as the gatekeeper of the automation pipeline for the CS RPA team.
  • Conducts deep process analysis of identified automation opportunities to validate the feasibility and viability of the automation.
  • Acts as a key interface between business end users/process owners and the RPA development team – converts business asks/needs to clear functional requirements that can be developed and tested.
  • Evaluate business needs and user requirements across various departments.
  • Conduct requirements analysis and formulate specifications for impacted systems.
  • Anticipates identifies and resolves key process stoppers and obstacles that might impact development.
  • Responsible for ensuring the technical solution fully meets the needs of the business.
  • Adopt Agile delivery methodologies to speed up user feedback cycles and E2E delivery timelines.
  • Identify ways to improve the performance and robustness of the solution.
  • Identify and recommend business process changes required for a more efficient business outcome.
  • Monitor, keep track and drive strong governance of change requests and implementation after approval.
  • Work within project constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues to the project manager accordingly, and providing inputs to the change control process.
  • Continuously assess the RPA solution to address potential user experience improvements or additional efficiencies.

Qualification :

  • First-level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.
  • Typically 2-5 years of related experience in IT/business operations.
  • Typically 1-5 years of project management experience.
  • Quality improvement training required and certification a plus.
  • Collaborates with peers, process SME’s, other developers, and external design partners.
  • Typically interacts with high-level Individual Contributors, Managers, and Program Core Teams.
  • Leads a project requiring software application development.
  • Contributes to business- or function-wide processes/programs that impact multiple business units and/or countries.

Knowledge And Skills :

  • Strong Problem-solving and Analytical Skills.
  • Ability to quickly understand new processes and connect them to the overall value chain.
  • Ability to translate business asks and needs into functional requirements and specifications that can be consumed by developers.
  • In-depth knowledge of HP operational processes, industry trends, and customer/partner requirements.
  • Ability to zoom in and identify the right solution to complicated process issues while retaining the perspective of the overall process goal and vision.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to analyze requirements from different angles with clear and logical thinking.
  • Experience working on complex, cross-functional programs.
  • Experience writing Business Requirements Documents for IT.
  • Ability to interpret and visualize business process flows and translate them to automation solutions.
  • Primary to advanced understanding of modern software development methodologies.
  • Basic understanding of the Lean Six Sigma process methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills (i.e. written, verbal, presentation), leadership, and influence skills. Mastery in English and local language as well as other languages as required.
  • Detail and results-oriented.
  • Strong business experience in multiple process areas with excellent project management and process development skills; ability to drive process improvements using industry-standard quality improvement tools and concepts.
  • Solid financial and business acumen.
