Job Description :

BNP Paribas is looking for a highly motivated teammate ready to play a key role as a Senior Automation Engineer.

Position Purpose :

The Senior Automation Engineer will be responsible to:

• Design and create the test plans and the test scripts using UFT
• Create the tests data
• Execute the test plans to qualify the software, with usage of standard tools
• Developing the automation framework

Responsibilities :

Direct Responsibilities :

• Understanding the existing Automation framework / Enhance the Automation framework if required / Come up with new framework
• Providing the test estimate for automation
• Preparing Automation Test approach
• Creating manual regression test cases on need basis
• Automate manual test cases using UFT tool
• Automation test execution
• Automation tool maintenance
• ALM & UFT integration
• Collaborate with Functional testing and Development team

Contributing Responsibilities :

• Providing technical trainings to others
• Documentation

Domain knowledge:

• BFSI domain ( Nice to have)

Technical & Behavioral Competencies :

• Extensive Hands on in UFT
• VB Script – Must have good technical and debugging knowledge
• Ability to understand and modify the existing Automation framework
• Hands on experience of ALM tool
• SQL Knowledge
• Experience of estimating test effort
