Primary Responsibilities:

• Become an expert in Provider analytics functionality, staying current with product information, changes and updates
• Be able to support and answer questions around the Inpatient Hospital analytics and Provider Network analytics clients and support Optum Advisory Services teams
• As s Senior Product Analyst, You should work in tandem with product team and client services team to ensure smooth product delivery and ongoing optimization
• Elicit, facilitate and document requirements, processes, analysis, etc on a daily basis
• Identify creative opportunities to solve client problems
• Manage internal communication around data and product related issues and questions
• Develop and maintain an understanding of the healthcare priorities driving use of the Optum Solutions
• Build an understanding of how data drives clinical and analytic applications
• Serve as a resource for Product and Client Service Managers and other internal teams including support (if needed)
• Utilize process improvement methodologies to minimize and eliminate inefficient practices
• Lead cross functional department meetings to ensure product delivery targets are met
• Monitor and manage project scope on a daily basis and communicate appropriately

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT engineering or related discipline, preferably from tier 1 or tier 2 institutions
• 7+ years of BA experience or minimum 2+ years of Product Management experience
• Demonstrated business analyst experience working with large scale applications such as Analytics, CRM or ERP like solutions
• Solid foundation in SDLC methodologies – Agile and SCRUM
• Excellent work ethic, high attention to detail
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to be flexible and work in a fast – paced, dynamic environment
• Comfortable learning new technology systems
• Passionate about client satisfaction
• Experience in managing or interfacing with clients / customers
• Agile Software development methodology experience
• Process improvement experience
• General knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Health care experience or knowledge base
