Job Description :

We are looking to hire a Senior UX Designer to join the SOI Catalyst Team.

About Role :

The UX designer will create satisfying and compelling experiences for users of our product, often drawing on results from user research and a workflow analysis. Generally, our Senior UX designer needs to possess strong creative, technical, and problem-solving skills. OurUXdesign role may involve psychology, storytelling, and computer science as well. Areas of focus may include content, controls, visual design and development, information architecture, user research, branding, and customer/technical support.

• Consulting with clients to understand their goals and explaining research results
• Conducting usability testing
• Creating wireframes, storyboards, sitemaps and screen flows
• Creating product prototypes
• Developing personas and usage scenarios
• Analyzing user feedback and activity, and iterating to enhance the user experience
• Assisting with content development
• Conducting competitor and customer analysis

What We’re Looking For…

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant work experience.
• Solid understanding of the graphic design and web technologies and of wireframing tools such as Balsamiq.
• A good grasp of design programs and tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, and InVision is also necessary.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and a willingness to keep their skills and industry knowledge current

Even Better If You Have :

• Experience in WebUI framework and WebUI development which includes usability, page transition, page navigation, image caching, lazy page loading.
• Experience in using UI debugging and profiling tools.
• Knowledge of microservices.
• Experience in front-end payload, the ability to make decisions on front-end validations, server-side validations.
• Experience in end-to-end application flows.
• Object-oriented design & programming skills.
• Experience in transactional flows from front-end to the backend.
• Experience in performance tuning the web application.
• A degree in Graphic Design, Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant discipline.
• Experience developing complex multi-layer applications.
• Experience in XML and XSLT transformation and Git version control systems.
• Telecommunications experience.
• Experience developing progressive web applications.
