Job Description :

A Server Engineer should assess, evaluate risks, and maintain the end point’s compliance posture, including desktops, laptops, and other endpoint devices. The role is for a skilled server professional with comprehensive knowledge who performs end-to-end services for clients using a consultative approach. 

Day-to-day compliance of endpoint protection in a variety of network environments, troubleshooting and tuning the performance of this product in the enterprise environment.

Responsibilities :

• Design, implement and maintain endpoint solution that is compliant to the ITSS standards, regulatory framework requirements and to any contractual obligation.
• Configure policies on the server and apply it onto every type of clients.
• Create installation package for every type of client machines.
• Configure update processes.
• Checking regular synchronization and monitoring to ensure signatures are updated.
• Check and drive the patch management status and ensure compliance
• Help troubleshoot all issues related to signature downloading or updating
• Help troubleshoot all issues on virus, malware infections / prevention
• Prepare and provide regular compliance report. Inspect and audit security loop holes in server Infra and propose better management practices.
• A Server Engineer Should contribute to Improving the processes for ISO22301, ISO27001, PCI, HIPAA and other audits and compliance programs
• Documents and recommends improvements to current environment and practice
• Maintain/Design/Implement high server availability build for redundancy and resilience
• Test new tools and applications
• Helps with security audits of the servers and improves the security posture; follows security best practices
• Follows procedures and policies defined as best practice to comply with audit requirements
• Validation of configuration of servers in accordance with published templates and standards
• Ensure complete transparency and understanding of the server’s definition and communication to the technical team and stakeholders
• Focuses on automation of the activities

Knowledge & Experience :

• Four-year or Three-year university degree preferably in the field of computer science or other related academic fields
• 5 years of relevant work experience. 
• Must be proficient in end point compliance tools
• Should have knowledge in server design, security & server technologies
• Experience with the SQL, Oracle, Open source tools etc
• Prefer to have any technical certification
