Job Description :

The Solutions Engineer role is similar to that of a Pre-sales Engineer role but focussed on enterprise customers, and therefore requires taking up i) consultative approach and ii) thinking of how to provide an overall technical solution to the prospect as against just explaining the product features.

Responsibilities :

  • A solutions engineer be the prospect’s trusted technical expert throughout the sales cycle.
  • Identify key problem areas that matter, gather and document requirements, participating in discovery calls with prospects.
  • Give product demos highlighting the benefits of the low-code platform and relevant product capabilities.
  • Scope out, build (with the help of a developer) and present a Proof of Concept to convince the prospect about solution fit.
  • Work closely with the sales team, engaging the prospects towards a successful closure.
  • Work on proposals and respond to RFPs.
  • Act as a liaison between sales, product, engineering, and support teams to ensure delivery of solution as per prospect’s expectations.

Qualifications : 

  • 3 years of relevant solution engineer/pre-sales/consulting or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Strong sales acumen with excellent verbal, presentation, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret customers’ business problems and technical issues to articulate how a solution will align with their requirements.
  • Experience with low-code / rapid application development/ RPA/ BPM platforms is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge about software development and prior experience with programming will be an advantage.
  • Ability to work in shifts.
