Job Description :

The microchip is looking for a Technical Writer, who can produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of the Business Unit.

The technical writer at Microchip should be able to work independently and collaborate with an engineering team to develop various documents such as User Guides, Datasheets, Application notes, etc.

Job Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical Engineering/English/Journalism/Communications or a related field.
• Technical editing experience with writing and analytical skills in the technical environment.
• Experience in SDL Tridion Docs content management or equivalent tools
• Excellent written, proof reading and verbal English communication skills
• Good knowledge in electronics concepts and good understanding of embedded-C and Python
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative working environment and be highly proactive.
• Strong teamwork, organization and problem-solving skills. Active listening skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and with the formal SCRUM software development process.
• Knowledge and Skills related to Applied Cryptography
